Sprinkles is always wide eyed and curious...seriously-it's creepy sometimes when you catch her staring at you with these eyes! She's been known to sit in the shower while the water is going, and she will eat ANYTHING you put in front of her.
Brando is a total ham. He loves people (but HATES Sprinkles) and will not hesitate to make your lap his new bed. He loves belly rubs and has one of the loudest purrs ever. We're like Forrest and Jenny.
Luna is the loner of the bunch. She doesn't like to be held, always looks serious, and won't hesitate to assert her dominance. She loves sleeping on the back of the couch-and one of her favorite things to do is sit by the back door and squeak/chirp at the birds while they eat.
Wesley is the handsome mischievous one. I might even go as far as to compare him to Han Solo. He gets along with everybody, and loves to have boxing/wrestling matches with Sprinkles. He is also a giant fan of boxes of any kind. His two favorite toys are an old plush snake (or worm, I can't tell) and my hair ties. He also has one of the cutest meows. It's tiny and soft and sounds like it should be coming from a kitten instead.
I've shared photos of our dog Brandi a couple of times before, but in case you haven't seen her yet, I shot this pretty photo of her too. Brandi thinks she's smaller than she is and loves trying to sit on the little round foot stools. She reminds me of those old illustrations of circus bears or seals sitting on a ball. So cute :) She gets along with all of the cats, and even gives them kisses sometimes. She's a big sweetheart.
April showers bring May flowers....and we're definitely getting the showers :) Something you may not know about me is that I LOVE stormy weather. If I had it my way-there would be thunderstorms every day. When I was a kid, I even used to ask my mom regularly to wake me up if there was a storm. I just wanted to watch and listen and enjoy. We had a pretty good one on Saturday evening and I got the shot below of this amazing storm cloud just above our house. Just in case you were interested in seeing a little corner of our neighborhood, I took the next photo from our front yard. I was trying to get a good shot of the dark sky in the distance, but it just came out way lighter than it was in person.
Is she the cutest or what?! I love the color too, but unfortunately I'm not sure if that shade would get me sent home from work. What do you think? Could you wear this color to work?
What have you been up to lately?
