Before writing this post, I scrolled back through previous annual goals lists of mine, and noticed something. They're pretty much the same list. Ooops! Guys, I am such a procrastinator and it is not even funny at all. Every year that goes by, I look back at the things I wanted to accomplish only to realize that I didn't do much in the way of reaching them. I could come up with a load of excuses that might make me feel better...but I know they would just be excuses...so I'm not gonna do that. Instead I'm going to take a new approach to meeting my goals. I tend to look at the big picture and imagine myself at the end of the year. What would my life look like...what would I look look...how would I spend my days if at the end of the year I could cross off everything on my list? That strategy just ends up making me feel like I'm in a never ending tunnel...I can see the end and it feels like I'm moving forward...but the end of that tunnel just keeps getting further and further away. Soooo.....instead of taking that approach, I'm going to just relax and take this year one month at a time. I'm just going to have fun with it and see where it leads me. If I want to alter or replace a goal 6 months from now, I'll do that and not feel bad about it. I want to see what happens if I just take things one day at a time and make an effort to remain positive throughout. So here are my intentions for the year in no particular order:

Goals + Dreams 2016
I'm BAAAAACK!!! Over the past two months, I spent an enormous amount of time away from my computer, turned 30, contemplated life changes, stressed more than ever, experienced the new Star Wars movie, bought a brand new car (more on that later!), aaaaaand gave my blog a seriously pretty makeover, as you can see ;) A new year is finally here, and I'm so happy to be back blogging. 2016 is going to be THE sweetest year :) I love starting the year off with new goals and dreams, and last year I purchased a copy of Moorea Seal's "52 Lists Project" book. I saved it for the start of the year, and the first list is perfect for this post. Let's go!

Fall Goals 2015
You guys...Fall is officially here! It certainly doesn't feel like Fall in my neck of the woods yet, but I'm very much looking forward to sweater weather and all things pumpkin. Here are a few things I hope to accomplish within the next few months: Work my bum off (literally) for Roller Derby. For the next 12 weeks, I'll be going to weekly practices and I want to not only be able to keep up....I reeeeally want to become an athlete. Fitness has taken a backseat for most of my adult life-getting fit for Derby is the perfect motivation for me right now.

Goals // July 2015

_Lose 8 Pounds.
I started utilizing Plan To Eat last month...which encouraged me to cook more at home...which encouraged me to stop eating take-out and fast-food all the time...which caused me to drop 4 pounds! I've also been going for lots of walks at the park and playing Tennis with Matthew in the evening :)

Goals // June 2015
It's that time again....aaaand sometimes I'm not sure why I make monthly goals, because I very rarely reach any of them. Of the 9 goals that I made for last month, I only accomplished 3 things! Ughhh-I'm terrible, I know. So let's see if I can accomplish more this month eh? Let's go!
