Far Out Scout // Life Changes

It's been nearly a year since my last blog post...and so much has changed!  First of all, for readers new and old, welcome to my re-branded blog: Far Out Scout (previously Lady Serpentine)!  With all of the changes that have happened over the past year and feeling like a completely different person...giving myself a new blog identity just felt like the right thing to do.  Alright!  So let's get to the exciting stuff!  What's changed over the past year, and what have I been up to?  Read on my friends!

Weight Loss

I'll share an entire post on this in the near future, including how much I lost and how I did it...but yeah!!!  I feel so much better physically and am so much more confident in myself!

Living Solo

In July, I made the decision to become single again, to move into my own space, and to become more independent.  It was the best decision I've made for myself in a very long time, and one of the most important.  It forced me to change my spending habits, to be self sufficient, and to spend time exploring ideas for what I'd like to do for myself in the future.  It's exactly what I needed and it led me to making more of the changes I knew would make me happy...including the following:

From Texas to Montana

I reconnected with someone very special to me, and I'm so happy!  After visiting him in Montana in October...and months of texting and phone conversations...I decided that taking the leap and moving to Montana felt right...both for the experience of living in a new place and for seeing how well he and I would get along being together before deciding if I'll be staying more permanently.  I've been here for almost four weeks now, and I absolutely love it.  I've been meeting new people, I went snowshoeing for the first time a few days ago, and I've found work that I'm happy with!  I'm working part time at Spencer's, and on Monday I start work as a full time screen printer for a local family owned tee shirt printing company!  I'm so excited!

I feel on top of the world right now, and am so happy with all of the big life changes I've made and all that I've accomplished!  Cheers!

    1. Thank you so much Kaylah! Sometimes I can't even believe how much positive change I've made in my life, and it inspires me to be proactive in doing more of the things I've always wanted to do!
